David H. Starkey

Admitted to practice in Ohio in 1977, Dave was a partner in the law firm of Hamilton, Kramer, Myers & Cheek for 20 years in downtown Columbus. He has received an "AV" rating from Martindale & Hubble, indicating premier achievement by his peers, both in his knowledge and expertise in his areas of practice, and the highest level of ethical standards. Mr. Starkey provides an important dimension to our office, as he is a trial attorney, primarily practicing in the areas of:

- Insurance law
- General civil litigation
- Probate litigation
Dave is a life long resident of the Dublin area and is active in real estate development in and around the Dublin community, including the development of Tartan Fields, just north of Muirfield Village in Dublin, Ohio, and new development occurring on Industrial Parkway.
Phillip A. Waid
Attorney at Law
Admitted to practice in Ohio in 1973. Phil has been an active resident of the Hilliard community, serving various civic associations and the United Methodist Church for many years. He is a licensed title agent and President of Chicago Title West since 1979. He has been serving residents of both the Hilliard and Dublin communities for over 45 years, with expertise in the areas of:

- Business and corporate law
- Small corporation formation and dissolution

Phil is a past President of the National Purdue Alumni Association, an office held while living here in the heart of Buckeye country.
Peter D. Starkey
Attorney at Law
Admitted to practice in 2007, Peter brings both local and global experience to the firm. Born and raised in the Dublin area as a proud Buckeye fun, Peter attended law school in Cincinnati and practiced for several years in southern Ohio before spending time living in Eastern Europe as a nonprofit youth worker. He has now returned home to his roots and has been with Starkey & Waid LLC since 2018. Peter prefers a relational, client-focused approach to address the practical needs of the clients he serves in a variety of areas, including:
- Juvenile Law (custody cases, Guardian ad Litem, etc.)

Peter enjoys almost all sports and is an active member of Veritas Community Church in Hilliard. Most recently, he has founded a nonprofit organization focused on faith-based outdoor youth ministry.
